How to change Text to Columns 

This method works best if the data is arranged in a single column. The following example assumes that the data is in column A and starts in row 1 ($A$1). To use this example, follow these steps:
  1. Select one column of cells that contain the text.
  2. On the Data menu, click Text to Columns.
  3. Under Original data type, click Delimited, and click Next.
  4. Under Delimiters, click to select the Tab check box, and click Next.
  5. Under Column data format, click General.
  6. Click Advanced and make any appropriate settings for the Decimal separator and Thousands separator. Click OK.
  7. Click Finish.
The text is converted to numbers.

Struggling for half and hour. This is the best solution.

Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close

This is happen with my client, when the space of windows got used up to zero.

What i am doing are :
Move data to another free space drive. Recreate a new user with administrator account. and go to properties to change My document location to other location with more space ( to keep the system space clean ).

And if you also get this messages "Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close, The error report gives the following data "szAppName : spoolsv.exe szAppVer :  5.1.2600.2696 szModName : Sr32.dll  szModVer : 6.0.909.0 offset : 0001f6a3

What i am doing are : 
net stop spooler
net start spooler

will clear the queue. If it doesn't, stop the spooler then go to

%windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ and delete the files. Then re-start
the spooler.

Problem with Microsoft Outlook

If you have a problem with Microsoft outlook. Such as a message like this "cannot open set of outlook folders" or you cannot open the outlook properly.

Try this, maybe it will make your pain goes away.
Start - Run - (typed) OUTLOOK.EXE /resetnavpane
then open your outlook again.

Hope this methode can help you out.

Print 4-up enclosure cards

To Print 4-up enclosure cards,
1. Using Word 2002/2003 and Letter paper:
  1. Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels.
  2. 2. On the Labels tab, click Options.
  3. 3. From the "Avery standard" list, choose 3263 - Post Card (for four
    landscape cards) or 5845 Note card (for four portrait cards).
  4. 4. Click OK, then New Document. This will give you a sheet of cards. They
    are set up as a table, so make sure you have table gridlines displayed
    (Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the card boundaries.
On Word 2010
  1. 1. Mailings - Labels
  2. 2. Click Options
  3. 3. On Label Vendors list , choose “Avery US Letter” and choose 3263
  4. 4. Click OK, then New Document.

C1 : how many working hour ?

This is the formula : =((B1-A1+(B1
The result will be 10.5 Working Hour.

 

How to using SUMIF and SUMIFS

How to use SUMIF() and SUMIFS()

SUMIF(range;criteria;[sum_range]) is a formula to summarize with 1 criteria or categories
example :
a;b;c;d
1;a ; 10 ; a1
2;b ; 20 ; c1
3;c ; 30 ; a1
4;d ; 40 ; b1
5;e ; 50 ; b1
6;f ; 60 ; a1
7;g ; 70 ; c1
total C is 280
sum for a1 is =sumif(d1:d7;"a1";c1:c7) = 120
sum for b1 is =sumif(d1:d7;"b1";c1:c7) = 140
sum for c1 is =sumif(d1:d7;"c1";c1:c7) = 20

Combining Cells in Excel

In Excel we can do much, such as i am gonna show how to combining cells in excel.

combine multiple cell ( minimum with 2 cells ) with &
Example :
cell a1 : Together
cell b1 : Forever
with this formula we can get TogetherForever.
How do you do it ? Heres how, just use this formula =a1 & b1

And You can use space to get Together Forever with this formula = a1 & " " & b1
Interesting isn't it?


Combine text with number too.
example :
cell a1 : 4
cell b1 : Ever
How : ="Together " & a1 & b1 ==> you'll get Together 4ever

combine text with date
="today is : " & today() ; u'll get today is : 40749
to fix this :
="today is : " & text(today();"dddd") ; u'll get today is : monday

Format a date

How to Insert Excel in Word

There's lots of ways to insert excel in word.

But i'm gonna show u'all how to insert a long excel to one page word.
First open your excel and use page break preview to see your work in 1 page.
Second copy you excel and open your word and go to Edit , Paste Special and Picture (Enhanced Metafile).
Third well your excel become an image and you can move or drag or even resized.

Well believe it or not....

Remove multiple hyperlink in Excel

  1. Type the number 1 in a blank cell, and right-click the cell.
  2. Click Copy on the shortcut menu.
  3. While pressing CTRL, select each hyperlink (hyperlink: Colored and underlined text or a graphic that you click to go to a file, a location in a file, a Web page on the World Wide Web, or a Web page on an intranet. Hyperlinks can also go to newsgroups and to Gopher, Telnet, and FTP sites.) you want to deactivate.
  4. Click Paste Special on the Edit menu.
  5. Under Operation, click Multiply and then click OK.

The "inverse" of the CHAR function is the CODE function. While CHAR takes a number and returns the actual character, the CODE function takes a character and returns the code number
